Training
Dr. Lo has trained at the country’s most prestigious
institutions. He attended Stanford University and received
his bachelor’s degree. He returned home to Nebraska
and attended the University of Nebraska College of medicine.
He excelled in his class and was awarded the Regent’s
scholarship for academic excellence. Following medical
school, Dr. Lo completed his internship at the Mayo Clinic
in Rochester, Minnesota. He completed his residency at
the University of Texas Health Science center in San Antonio. |

After residency, Dr. Lo completed two
separate fellowships over three years to master the art of cosmetic
surgery. He first completed an ophthalmic and facial plastic
surgery fellowship at the Arizona Centre for Plastic Surgery,
which focused on plastic surgery around the eyelids and face.
His cosmetic surgery fellowship at the Anderson Plastic Surgery
Center expanded his scope to general cosmetic surgery. During
this year, he became an expert in cosmetic techniques, learning
the cutting edge techniques of the endoscopic brow and midface
lift, liposuction, and fat transplantation.
Dr. Lo continues to learn new techniques
to give his patients the best results. He constantly searches
for ways to improve results while minimizing the scarring
and down time from surgery.

Qualifications
Dr. Lo is an expert in ophthalmic
plastic and facial cosmetic surgery. He has performed thousands
of procedures on the face and body. He is one of the few cosmetic
surgeons who is a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), the American
Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Board of Ophthalmology.
As a member of the prestigious ASOPRS
society, Dr. Lo is one of the approximately 500 surgeons in
the world who has completed an accredited fellowship, passed
extensive written and oral board exams, and completed a peer
reviewed thesis relating to ophthalmic and facial plastic
surgery.

the procedures he performs. By granting privileges to him,
the Medical Executive Committee of the hospital has examined
his training and considers him qualified to do these procedures
in the hospital.
Lectures
and Papers
During his cosmetic surgery
fellowship, Dr. Lo co-authored a paper published in the prestigious
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal, on the new technique
of endoscopic midface lifts. This was one of the first published
articles describing this new technique. Dr. Lo is an expert
in this technique and one of the only cosmetic surgeons performing
this technique in the Southwest US. Dr. Lo has authored several
articles relating to cosmetic and ophthalmic plastic surgery.
Additionally, Dr. Lo has been an invited speaker at several
national meetings relating to his surgical techniques in the
endoscopic midface lift, lip augmentations, and face lifts.
