Latisse® Tucson

Latisse® Tucson arizona Latisse® is the first FDA approved eyelash enhancement drug, brought to you by Allergan Inc, the maker of Botox® Cosmetic.

How Does Latisse® In Tucson Work?

Latisse® is specially formulated for cosmetic use in people who have short or inadequate eyelashes. When applied to the base of the upper eyelids, the active ingredient - bimatoprost - maintains the growth phase of the eyelashes and increases the number of lashes in that growth phase. The effect gradually produces thicker, longer, darker lashes.

Clinical Results of Latisse®

78 percent of patients reported significant eyelash enhancement in clinical studies of Latisse®. On average, participants exhibited lashes that were 25 percent longer, 18 percent darker and over 100 percent fuller. The most common side effects (4 percent) were an itching sensation and eye redness.

Results of Latisse® start to appear after about 4 weeks, but they are not permanent. The final result of Latisse® should be seen after about 12 to 16 weeks of use. If you stop using Latisse®, your lashes will gradually return to their normal state. Good candidates for Latisse® will be healthy, have no associated allergies, and may experience dissatisfaction with the length and number of their eyelashes.

Latisse® is available only by prescription to treat hypotrichosis i.e. inadequate eyelashes.

Latisse® FAQ

Are there any alternatives to Latisse®?

Are there serious side effects possible with Latisse®?

However, side effects such as skin darkening, eye irritation, dryness of the eyes and redness have been documented. You should closely follow the instructions for applying Latisse®.

What is Lumigan?

Lumigan is a glaucoma medication closely related to Latisse®. Patients who used Lumigan experienced significant eyelash growth, which led to the development of Latisse®.
