LipoDissolve is a non-surgical alternative to liposuction.
Procedure Information
A combination of medications are injected directly
to small localized fat deposits, causing the fat to
breakdown and emulsify. These targeted fat deposits
are then naturally excreted out of the body. The injections
are relatively painless, therefore no anesthesia is
needed. The procedure will take about 30-60 minutes
depending on the areas treated. There is minimal bruising
and swelling and the patient can return to his/her
daily activities immediately after the procedure.
Additional Information
LipoDissolve is used to reduce small localized fat
deposits resistant to diet and exercise rather than
for weight reduction. Most people will require from
6-10 sessions to achieve results. These treatments
are spaced about 2 weeks apart. It is recommended that
patients continue to participate in proper dieting
and exercise to maintain results over the long term.
Difference Between LipoDissolve and Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a procedure that includes injections
of medicines directly into the skin. Mesotherapy is
used to treat cellulite and other skin conditions.
LipoDissolve differs in that it involves injections
of medicines deeper into the fat. LipoDissolve is primarily
used to decrease localized fat deposits.
